Hammock Dunes Cares

from Championship Golf to Charitable Giving

Being a good citizen and neighbor to the Palm Coast and Flagler County communities is a core value brought to life through the charitable efforts of Hammock Dunes Cares, a tax exempt 501(c)(3) and the philanthropic arm of the Club.

Hammock Dunes Cares hosts a number of events to raise funds in support of Hunger Relief, Veterans’ Wellness, Habitat for Humanity, the Flagler Free Clinic and Hammock Dunes Club employees through disaster relief and scholarship support. With opportunities all year to support their initiatives, there’s no shortage of ways that all members can give back. In 2025, through the generous support of the Club’s members, more than $180,000 was distributed to local not-for-profit corporations for the benefit of Flagler County.

Paying it Forward

The first loss in a downward spiral is the loss of mobility. The Bike Men of Flagler County gives the gift of transportation to Flagler citizens. They refurbish used bikes and give them for free to those needing a ride to school and to work.

Homeless children are helped by Families In Transition with basic needs such as food, shelter and clothing. F.I.T also gives unsheltered Flagler citizens pride and self-esteem.

Youth Group
Supporting Flagler Youth

With our support, the Police Athletic League continues to get kids off the streets and on a better path. They provide a safe place and offer mentorship, discipline, sports programs and arts in the George Washington Carver Gym. They need more space and equipment because of their success.

Flagler Turtle Patrol consists of dedicated volunteers who patrol our beaches twice daily in turtle season. This money will help FTP get a storage shed and other vital equipment.

The Club hosts its signature fundraising event, The RALLY, the first quarter of every year and features a slew of activities the whole family can enjoy. Events include golf, pickleball, bingo, bocce, croquet, mahjongg, a cocktail party with live auction, two live concerts and more! The 2025 RALLY raised in excess of $180,000 benefiting the Flagler Free Clinic and other Flagler Charities.

Employee HD caresHelping the Heart of the Club

Without the warm hospitality and care of our staff, Hammock Dunes Club would be nothing more than a club. Through initiatives such as the Employee Relief Fund, and Employee Scholarship Assistance, Hammock Dunes Cares is able to show appreciation and gratitude for our staff. Employee Scholarship assistance allows employees and their families to continue their education pre-paid at Daytona State College.

Serving those who have Served

Serving those who have Served

Hammock Dunes Cares has provided support for Veterans for many years, keeping the funds within Flagler County. Traditionally, donations are generated from the annual Veterans Day Golf Tournament. We believe that Veterans Day is about honoring and saluting those who have served our country and first responders. JROTC, Police Explorers, VFW and Old Glory Service Dogs have all benefitted from Hammock Dunes Cares fundraising efforts.

Community buildBuilding the Community

Over time, due to Hammock Dunes Cares’ partnership with Habitat for Humanity, 19 homes have been built without any cost to the Club. Habitat receives grant money annually from the State of Florida dedicated to affordable housing in Flagler County. Employees who are in Habitat for Humanity houses are in jeopardy and need a boost to remain housed.
